Workshop: Wet Felting: An Exploration – Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival

University of Alaska Fairbanks Campus,

Wet felting is the ancient process of changing sheep's wool fleece into a piece of felt fabric. Using warm water, a little soap and elbow grease, students will explore felt making by designing and making colorful purses, pillows, table mats, holiday items or art work for the wall. The emphasis of the workshop is on creative expression, no matter what the level of the student. The instructor will help each student find his/her own voice. The classes are for beginning…
